Dr. D. P. Sandha is an academic and information science professional with extensive experience in research, digital information management, and higher education. He served as Associate Professor (AcSIR) and Head of the CNeM and Knowledge Resource Centre at CSIR – Institute of Minerals & Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar. He has also been involved in teaching Research Methodology, Bioinformatics, and S&T intervention courses for Ph.D. scholars under AcSIR and has been associated with IGNOU as a counselor and instructor since 1990. Currently, he is contributing as Professor in the e-Vidya Bharati Programme of IGNOU to the African Union and Dean (R&D) at SITAL Group of Institutions.
Dr. D. P. Sandha has contributed significantly to the field of information science and digital knowledge management. He has published several research papers and technical articles in national and international journals and conferences related to information systems, digital libraries, and knowledge resource management. He has also been actively involved in research guidance, academic training, and development of digital information services in scientific institutions. In addition to his academic contributions, he has played an important role in promoting research support systems and information infrastructure in higher education and research organizations.
